He is an active member of the
Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and a member of the
I.A.T.S.E.. John is licensed in the state of Idaho to perform low-voltage
and commercial sound equipment installation. John has years of experience
in design, manufacture and installation of systems ranging from small Hollywood
screening rooms to 12 14 screen complexes. Some of his clients
have been: Clint Eastwood / Malpaso Productions, Walt Disney Co.,
Leonard Nimoy, and Arnold Schwartzenegger to name a few.
Phil Housh came along the scene
about 2 years ago. Phil was a projectionist for many years in the
Boise valley. He also has a "Limited Energy" license in the
state of Idaho and a degree in Electronics from Boise State University.
Phil has attended Sony school among other training sessions and seminars.

Over 20 years ago, John
R. Eickhof, owner of Northwest Theatre Equipment Co., started as a
field service engineer working for independent theatres throughout
the Northern California and Nevada area. He was trained by Altec
Service Co., and subsequently was certified by Dolby Labs, DTS (Digital
Theatre Systems) and SDDS (Sony Dynamic Digital Sound).
